SMPS
We supply, switched-mode power supply (SMPS) is an electronic power supply unit (PSU) that incorporates a switching regulator. While a linear regulator maintains the desired output voltage by dissipating excess power in a pass power transistor, the SMPS rapidly switches a power transistor between saturation (full on) and cutoff (completely off) with a variable duty cycle whose average is the desired output voltage.

Features

- These cells are highly consistent and hence their performance is optimised when assembled into packs.
LED Driver
LED Driver is a constant current power Supply. The O/p current remains at fixed level even if the voltage is varied. Need for LED Driver arises taking in to consideration the output and life of the LEDs (Power LEDs). When power LEDs are connected to source they tend to draw maximum current from the source. This affects the performance and also the life of the LEDs, it can even fuse the LED instantly. To avoid this situation it is preferable to use constant current source.
LEDs have more life than those of the conventional lamps. The life of Leds is almost 1lac hours. Also the Lumens to Watts ratio is very high in case of Leds. It is in the range of 100-130.
Led lighting have their application in Home lighting, Street Lighting, Commercial lighting such as in the offices, Airport Lighting.
